Two Wolves Studio & Artist Den (114 SW 8th, 2nd Floor): Brian Broxterman is our featured artist this month. Matryoshka Tattoo (902 N Kansas): November featured artist is Natalie C. Spangenberg.  Natalie teaches 7-12 art in Burlington.  She is the only art teacher for the entire district.  Natalie previously taught art at Topeka West & the Mulvane Art Museum.  She has a passion for teaching & enjoys passing on her knowledge to aspiring artists.  Natalie loves color, whether it is paint, drawing, dye or polymer clay.  She enjoys finding new ways to explore the different types of art, learning from other cultures. STUDIO 831 (831 N Kansas): Our November exhibit continues from last month: "Clay & Paint: Bradley, Peters & BW-P" features two ceramic artists, Michael Bradley and Larry Peters, and one painter, Barbara Waterman-Peters. They are showing works that address different ways to approach the surface of an object. Open to the public First Friday November 2 from 4-8:30p, the show will run through November in conjunction with the Kansas Artist Craftsman Association Conference on November 16-17. Mulvane Art Museum (1700 SW College): An installation of ceramic sculptures by Patricia Sannit. Sannit is a founding member of the Artist Advisory Committee of the Ceramic Research Center at ASU. She has been an artist in residence at the Archie Bray Foundation, Red Lodge Art Center and the Belger Crane Yard in Kansas City, MO. This exhibition coincides with the 53rd Annual Kansas Artists Craftsmen Association Conference to be held at The NOTO Arts District in Topeka, Kansas -November 16-17, 2018. FFAW hours are 5-7p. SOHO Interiors (3129 SW Huntoon): David Zlotky is a fine art photographer who started his art career as a full-time painter. His paintings have garnered national recognition, currently hanging in the Smithsonian’s Air & Space Museum, the Truman Library and the Air Force Art Collection, while his photographs have been in several major exhibitions. David uses his painter’s aesthetic to make sensitive photographs of the Kansas Flint Hills.
