Topeka Art Guild (5331 SW 22nd Place - Fairlawn Plaza): Members of the Topeka Art Guild open an all new exhibit. Featured guest artists from the Thursday Afternoon Paint Along watercolor group will present 20 paintings in August. Dave, a nature and landscape photographer, came to Kansas thinking there would be nothing to photograph. NOTO Arts Center - Morris Gallery (935 N Kansas) features an exhibit entitled "Glass and Wood - A Moment" by artist April Lemon. Much of April's art is based on nature. Through her art she hopes that others are able to take that moment, to stop and step away from the demands of the world, their jobs, family and obligations. Just one moment to enjoy. Our special guest artist for August is Knotty Bassett, a yarn and handmade shop by artist Meg Wickham. Matryoshka Tattoo (902 N Kansas): Resident artist Jennifer Bohlander is the featured artist for August at Matryoshka. Her paintings will be on display all month long.
